Hello! We are excited about welcoming a baby to our family. We have told our family and friends about our hope to adopt a baby and they are very excited too.
We have been married for 8 years and live in the Pacific Northwest. We love it here and think it is a wonderful place to live and raise a family. We like getting outside and doing things like hiking in the mountains and being near the water.
We like celebrating holidays and having fun traditions with family & friends. We are part of an annual pumpkin carving party that a friend hosts. We go with our family to New York during Christmas-time to see the ice skaters at Rockefeller Center, eat roasted chestnuts and then go to a museum or play.
We look forward to sharing our love of learning and travel with a child. We consider ourselves to be life-long students, and we always like to try new things. We enjoy traveling and learning about the culture, history and trying the local food. Laura likes to take photos of Mark doing goofy things and meeting new ‘friends’.
We enjoy going to the beaches near our island cottage on the weekends. It is one of favorite places to explore, look for shells, visit tidepools and relax with our family and friends. It is also our dog, Guinness' favorite place to go. He is happiest when he is running in the water and chasing a ball.
